Description
First World War poster issued by the Australian Base Depots to promote a sports carnival to be held on ANZAC Day 1919 at Rouelles, France. Text only the poster is printed in black ink on a bright yellow and green background. It calls for entries from all members of the armed forces awaiting demobilisation to compete in an international program. Some events are listed as being for WAAC (Women's Auxiliary Army Corps) members only. In the lower third is an advert for an International Boxing Contest. Prizes are offered in Francs for all events.
