Description
The grave of Major (Maj) Terence Ward Garling; 1997A Sergeant (Sgt) Michael McFerran, and 3604 Bombardier (Bdr) Gordon Henry Iles, all of the 10th Field Artillery Brigade (FAB) who died in France on 5 April 1918. Maj Garling worked as a clerk at a stock and station agent before his enlistment in Sydney, NSW, and was aged 24 years at the time of his death. Sgt McFerran worked as a farm labourer before enlisting in Sydney on 20 January 1915 and was aged 25 years at the time of his death. Bdr Iles was a farmer before he enlisted in Tasmania on 12 August 1915 and was aged 23 years at the time of his death. This grave is located at Warloy-Baillon Communal Extension, France.
