Description

Issued in Iraq after the deaths of Uday and Qusay Hussein (based on the playing cards issued to troops in Iraq) who were captured or killed (indicated by a red cross through their photograph). This was published before the capture of Saddam Hussein. Forty people are marked as killed or captured, whilst 15 were still outstanding at the time. 55 Most Wanted”. 2003 PSYOP poster showing 55 most wanted Iraqis with some images obstructed by red crosses. This poster is directed at Iraqi citizens and is written in Arabic with no translation. Illustrations are in colour and black and white. The poster was collected in Iraq by artist/photographer George Gittoes.
