Description
"2/9th Field Ambulance Unit Association: A Recollection by Bill Flowers of his time with 2/9th Field Ambulance: 8th Division AIF And its subsequent Unit Association". This manuscript deals the service of Private William A Flowers (VX27026) in the 2/9th Field Ambulance Division. He served in Singapore until he and his unit were taken as prisoners of war. They served at Changi and Selarang, dealing with prevalant tropical diseases and injuries sustained while on working parties.
