Description
Studio portrait of 998 Private (Pte) William James McKean, C Company, 29th Battalion, of Port Campbell, Vic, aged 44 years. Pte McKean enlisted on 19 August 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ascanius on 10 November 1915. He was killed in action on 12 October 1916 at Armentieres, France.
