Description
Studio portrait of 3779 Private (Pte) Leslie Thomas Collyer, 9th Reinforcements, 23rd Battalion, of Heywood, Vic, aged 22 years. Pte Collyer enlisted on 20 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Warilda on 8 February 1916. He was killed in action on 28 July 1916 at Pozieres, France. See also DA11977.
