Description
A Rwandan man holding his son waiting for treatment not knowing that his son is already dead. The youth was one of over 2,000 unarmed civilians brutally massacred by the Rwandan Patriotic Army (RPA). He is one of a large number of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) who had gathered at the United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda (UNAMIR II) refugee camp at Kibeho, that at one time held an estimated 120,000 people, fleeing the genocide of the civil war between Rwanda's two tribal groups, the Tutsi and Hutu.
