Description
Studio portrait of Lieutenant (Lt) James McNamara, 11th Reinforcements, 12th Battalion, of Launceston, Tas, aged 38 years. Prior to his enlistment on 14 August 1915 in the AIF, he served with the 92nd Infantry, Citizens Military Forces. Lt McNamara embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ascanius on 10 November 1915. He returned to Australia on 25 January 1919 with the 41st Battalion. See also DA11735 and DA11736.
