The original grave of 63 Sergeant (Sgt) Phillip William George Elphick Moon, 8th Battalion, native of Newlyn, Vic, who was killed in action on 19 June 1915, aged 22 years. Sgt Moon's brother, 22423 Driver William Elphick Moon, 8th Australian Field Artillery Brigade, was killed in action in France on 25 June 1917, aged 21 years.
