Leather storage case for No. 107 Mk II Dial Sight : 25 Pounder Field Gun
Description
Brown leather storage case to hold a No.107 Mk I or Mk II Dial Sight for a 25 Pounder Field Gun. There is a short leather strap and brass securing plate stitched and rivetted to each side of the case and a longer carrying strap with adjustable buckle. The lid is secured with a leather strap, steel ring and brass fitting rivetted to the top of the lid. Stamped into the lid of the case is the text 'CASE, No.107 AUST No.1 DIAL SIGHT'. Also on the lid is a painted black rectangle with the number '766' painted in white numbers. The interior is partitioned and moulded to accomodate the dial sight.
