Turkish memorial near Ocean Beach at the back of No 1 Outpost, looking north showing Ocean Beach with the trawler Marsden and a couple of old barges ashore. Suvla Bay is in the distance. One of a series of photographs taken on the Gallipoli Peninsula under the direction of Captain C E W Bean of the Australian Historical Mission, during the months of February and March, 1919.
