Description
Four Afghan Northern Alliance soldiers with an American Special Forces. The American, wearing a baseball cap, uses a radio to call in airstrikes. Gittoes' notes of this work include: 'Explosions were soon seen around what appeared to be distant caves or tunnels in the mountains to our North East. We could hear the jets but they were hidden from view above light cloud cover. The Afghans seemed impatient with this kind of remote control war.'
